Why does the japanese recognize japanese americans, chinese americans, and people from singapore as Koreans?
I heard asians who speak alot of english who walk into electric stores, furniture outlet, gas company, government ward office, realestate agents, and so forth in japan are immediately judged by japanese as Koreans.
What would make japanese think that all asians should join Koreans in the same band wagon?
Maybe is because they are different. Maybe because they are the same? I’m not sure. Go take a trip to Japan and ask an elder. You heard from who? I’m Asian, and I’ve never heard anything like this before. o-o

That would be a weird way for Japanese to put other Asians down, particularly since recent research appears to show that the Japanese all came from Korea originally. Rather than being descended from the Anu. (The tribe native to Japan).

well that is a problem they made by importing koreans into their country. They’re like the biggest minority and socially blasted cause they think theyre like attacking japan by being just there or something. maybe that why they say koreans to all asians. like mexicans here, eveyone from latin america is "mexican" or puerto rican if u live in the east coast. they are kind of racist in a way, no one talks about it they have signs that says "japanes people" only like in public bath houses and stuff.
