		<description>Sure it is legal.   She was most likely waiting for them to lower the price, but then you came along.   She wants the house.   

Remember she will get it for 6% less then her bid, because of the commissions to her husband.

		<description>sounds a bit like shill bidding.... if she is bidding to raise the selling price and she is married to the sellers agent it sounds like a conflict of interest!  contact the real estate commission fast and tell them of this.

Having a license and bidding on a property against a non licensed individual is not against the law but given what you stated there could possibly be a conflict of interest.
